With a trap-worthy exit, our next vinyl 4-track sampler series kicks off with Toolroom’s Mark Knight, who continues his impressive run of collaborations with Darius Syrossian, who appears alongside him for the very first time on the label. Mark & Darius along with studio wizard James Hurr stumbled across this classic sample of ‘Let’s All Chant’ and together they got to work on cooking up a peak-time tech house cut. With an undeniable energy, lush vocal chops, and that familiar 90’s sample, this one works wonders on the floor. International House master Low Steppa is next up, delivering a special outing with Malta’s finest, Jewel Kid. Their track ‘Big Busta’ oozes ATTITUDE! Driving tech house percussion, an insatiable groove, and an ironic vocal that will be bagging plenty of smiles on the floor. Another certified club weapon, for sure! CASSIMM kicks off the B-side of the vinyl with another peak-time club weapon, returning with ‘Say Yeah’ alongside vocalist Mahalia Fontaine. The Italian-born house master is on top form as always, hot on the heels of his ‘Love Desire’ record, which has been doing astronomically well at the back end of 2023 with Claptone’s ‘Golden Recordings’ imprint. With a driving bassline and dancefloor energy aplenty, along with Mahalia’s raspy, diva-esque vocals adding that classic house touch to the whole thing! Finally, we round off with the once-mysterious but now ‘unmasked’ house duo, ‘Wh0’, with a straight-up slamming club banger! He has remixed the likes of The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx, Calvin Harris & Meduza, collaborating with Armand van Helden, Nile Rodgers & David Guetta under his Jack Back alias. This track is a full-throttle, no-frills, tongue-in-cheek club weapon! Seriously driving drums, a playful acid line, and a very cheeky vocal that will cause a stir on many a dance floor!
