A Speedy J Classic! Originally released on Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 label in the early 90s.

Remastered reissue of Speedy J's second historic EP for Plus 8 Records. Expanding further on the emerging sounds of Techno, Speedy J pushed beyond, venturing into euphoric, lo-fi minimal and bleepy territories with "Rise", "Tresor" and "De-orbit". All the while stripping it down to the bone, with only a 909 and a vocal sample in "Something For Your Mind". This release, and "Something For Your Mind" in particular, was at the forefront of techno as we know it today, with a harder, rawer and more direct approach and all its variants, like Gabber, which originated in Rotterdam the following year.
