Mark Reeve kicks off 2026 in top form with 'Body Drops,' a swift follow-up to his recent A-Sides contribution, 'My Mind.' The veteran artist boasts an inimitable touch in the studio, dating back over 15 years, and can always be trusted for impactful techno creations. Tracks like 'Run Back,' 'Distance,' and his collaboration with Adam Beyer, 'Nine of You,' are prime examples. 'Body Drops' landed on Drumcode thanks to Bart Skils. "Bart and I have a great musical understanding and a lot of respect for each other. So when he told me he thought this track would be a great fit for Drumcode, I thought 'okay, let me pitch it.' Adam replied with a resounding yes, and it all went from there." He continues, "I see a new peak-time sound evolving. Very modern and groovy, which is exactly what I like. I think all the other recent tracks on Drumcode really inspired me." The track is a gem. Driven by an otherworldly and driving riff, it instantly strikes with its unique sonic character. Imposing without being heavy-handed, it lends itself perfectly to a variety of high-impact moments. 'Feed My Fire' is a full-bodied, enveloping track that sees elements of prog, techno, psy, and silky chords combine for a sweeping dancefloor cut.
