It's hard not to have been completely captivated by Lovebirds and singer Stee Downes' magnetic "Want You In My Soul" back in 2011. A record as joyous as it was infectious, a genuine crossover that seemed to appeal to everyone, with prices soaring up to £200 for the original on Discogs. South Street continues its incredible run with a fully remastered and officially licensed re-press of this beloved track.

Clocking in at over eight minutes, "Want You In My Soul" is a modern deep house anthem as pure as they come. An extended intro gradually builds in intensity from echoing pads to shimmering arpeggios, before pulsating synths and Stee Downes' instantly recognisable soulful vocal emerge. Full of passion, brimming with emotion, it's as sun-kissed as you can get without getting burned.

On the flip side is the unreleased version of "Summer In London," which gets straight to the point, shortening the long intro and adding extra percussive touches for a more DJ-friendly version of the original.
