Founded in 1988 by Frank and Karen Mendez as a vehicle for the prolific creative output of The Burrell Brothers, legendary NYC imprint Nu Groove was relaunched in 2021, reaffirming its cult status and quickly becoming a home for pioneering genre talent. Today its impressive back catalogue continues to grow with NYC native Jovonn returning to the label with his ‘Syndicate Deep EP’, a four-track release showcasing the house master’s deep, pioneering and eclectic electronic grooves, including his Comon Remix update of ‘Random’, one of the tracks that relaunched the label.
