Genre: HOUSE - DISCO

An 80s dance classic from the legendary John Rocca, given a modern day reworking from Australian edit king Late Nite Tuff Guy, alongside a remastered re-release of Farley “Jackmaster” Funk’s 1987 Hot House Piano Remix, one of Chicago house royalty.
The originator of jazz funk classics Freeez, John Rocca hit the studio in ‘84 and spawned an electro-baked opus in the shape of “I Want It To Be Real”. A teasing synth work out, beefed up basslines, gated snares and purely 80’s vocals, a melting pot of influences with a catchiness that created a massive buzz.
This special double dosage of remixes kicks off with an all-new mix from Late Nite Tuff Guy. His brilliance is enhanced with masterful effect, holding back the vocal to the absolute extreme, adding some buttery new synth magic to the mix and deft filtering.
In contrast, the 1987 remix from Chicago house master, Farley “Jackmaster” Funk, focuses on those delicious piano and vocal forays for a dubbed out “Hot House Piano Mix”. Spiritually played keys with passion that is sure to boil water on any dance floor.
