Dutch house master Dennis Quin returns to Kerri Chandler’s Kaoz Theory imprint with a brand-new EP, reasserting his position as one of Europe’s most consistent purveyors of groove-driven, rhythm-led house music. With a career spanning acclaimed releases on PIV, Beeyou, Dungeon Meat and his own Eardrums label, Quin’s work perfectly blends deep house tradition with contemporary dancefloor energy. Kicking off the EP, ‘New York Accent’ sets the tone with a classic New York house vibe: raw drums, broken chords, and snippets of street-level vocal samples. ‘Hard Days Work’ dives deeper into house territory with glistening piano keys, dreamy chord progressions, and crisp percussion layered with nervous synths, saxophone flourishes, and soulful vocal hooks. Dennis Quin - New York to Amsterdam ft. Mr. V (incl. Benny Rodrigues Remix) On the following track, ‘My Amsterdam Legacy ft. Mr. V’, Quin tells us: “My Amsterdam Legacy tells the story of being a house music-loving teenager clubbing in the early 90s, right up to now, gracing stages across the globe. Mr. V captures that journey in a track that is as soulful as it is raw. It's my past, present, and future, all in one.” To round out the release, Benny Rodrigues reworks ‘New York Accent’, retaining its essence while injecting his characteristic rhythmic grit and intricate dynamism.
