This relatively new duo from Stockholm have been making some noise with their latest vinyl release. This EP showcases their love of Chicago influenced disco house sounds led by the likes of DJ Sneak. "Spoon Bait" opens proceedings with an almost dream-like vocal hook over a deep bass-driven groove, embellished with dub effects. "Tuborg Translate" ups the tempo, chopping up a Philly-style hook, underpinned by crisp beats and unearthly space effects. The title track "Silja Line Superstar" keeps the peak time energy high utilising warm evocative strings and horns, while "Kenneth Knaster" eases into a sublime disco journey, closing out the EP.
