ALKEMY is a legendary Italo House producer from the Adriatic Riviera. Active since 1991, the year his first 12" was released, he composed and produced several dozen tracks in the 90s that are now cult favorites among young DJs and collectors of the genre. Now he returns to produce two tracks with the same style of that era that impressed two well-known Italian DJs, one from the old school and one from the new, who wanted to create their own versions. Dj Ralf, one of the most historic, well-known, and active DJs in Italy, remixed "Cloud" for his warm and intense DJ sets around Italy. In "Cloud Detox," GNMR (Gianmaria Coccoluto) does not approach it as a simple remixer; rather, he does not distort or eliminate/replace the important parts of the track, but transports and renews them into a new musical realm all his own. Where ethnic elements, live drums, and intentionally unquantized rhythms create a unique body under the Goa moon, in India. Mysticism, transcendental worlds, long dances free from the judgment of others, and a closer contact with the supernatural make Detox a journey towards purification.
