The next instalment in Toolroom’s 4-track vinyl sampler series features another delectable collaboration from label founder Mark Knight, with legendary House DJ & producer Todd Terry & The Darryl James & David Anthony Project. Diving head first into the classic 90’s House sound, Mark Knight delivers a taste of his finest production to date, having re-discovered Todd Terry’s edit of The Darryl James & David Anthony Project’s ‘Buddah’, resulting in a truly killer rework of this gem, perfect for the dance floor in 2023.
Next up, renowned German selector Eddie Thoneick makes his debut on the label with his big room club weapon ‘Take It Back’. Taking the music straight to the floor, Eddie Thoneick has become synonymous with high-quality productions, delivering remixes for Armand Van Helden, Steve Angello, Bob Sinclar & David Guetta. Eddie’s robust production style shines through in ‘Take It Back’, offering a slice of raw Tech House with deep, rumbling basslines, metallic percussive elements, and a resonating hook that will leave any club it’s played in, rocking.
Following this, another sure-fire hit from Toolroom Academy lecturer, DJ and producer Pete Griffiths who releases what can only be described as a House anthem in the making, with his brand-new track ‘Get Together’. A perfect track for that hands-in-the-air moment, Pete Griffiths dives deep into the nostalgic sound of the 90’s, delivering a classy House record that is immaculately produced. Also featured on the track is American R&B and Gospel singer Ann Nesby, former lead vocalist of the group Sounds of Blackness, who brings her powerhouse vocals to the forefront, elevating this release to anthemic levels.
Lastly, Hungarian duo Muzzaik return to the label with StadiumX on their collaboration ‘Echoes’. Together, Muzzaik and StadiumX bring their distinctive sound to Toolroom with ‘Echoes’, a track that will win over any dance floor.
