Toronto based record label & party Hypnotic Mindscapes presents another modern electronic record geared for the dance floor with the third edition of their compilation series, showcasing a range of innovative tracks from artists close to the crew.
A1 opens with long-time friend and collaborator Patamamba (one half of Kimchi Records) with “Igoon of Blue”, progressive house tinges drenched in evocative acid lines reminiscent of 90s nostalgia. A2 features Hypnotic founder Cosmic JD, with a deep & overwhelming breakbeat track titled “Steam”, punchy basslines & trance arps bubbling into the early hours. On the flip side, scene veteran and Seekers boss Alex Picone debuts on the label with “WhyWasteWine”, a modern & frantic tech-house cut with wobbly melodies & metallic artefacts.
