Volume 1's A-side features a track with one of the most famous lyrics in house music history, MD X-Spress’s “God Made Me Phunky”; the record has inspired countless producers to sample and remix it, but this 90s gem still sounds incredible in its original glory. On the B-side are two mixes of a Three Kings classic, “Shake Dat Booty”. A Pal Joey’s interpretation pairs looped vocals with harmonious keys that compliment each other perfectly, while the Wahoo Main Mix uses energetic drums and techy synths to elevate the track.
