This latest EP from Lovebirds on Winding Road Records is another absolute masterpiece of chilled house soul and deep rave. A truly excellent package and a must-have release from Lovebirds. On the A-side track, "Want You In My Soul," Lovebirds collaborates with singer Stee Downes. Stee's acclaimed debut album, "All in a Day," was released by Sonar Kollektiv in 2008, and Stee has worked and performed with artists such as Motor City Drum Ensemble, Amp Fiddler, DJ Spinna, and Bugz in the Attic. Their collaboration for Winding Road is a vocal house bomb that will drive you wild. The B-side opens with the dirty tech track "Give Me A Dubf*ck," a shot of dark rave that has been causing big explosions on dance floors for a few months now. Perfect chemical material for the toughest tracks. Track B2 is Hot Toddy's remix of "Want You In My Soul," a chrome disco version of the track made by Chris Todd, a man from Crazy P, which was licensed to Tensnake's "In the House" compilation even before it saw the light of day.
