For the first time, Endrik Schroeder and The Hacker have joined forces. Their unique sounds and styles have combined perfectly to produce a 12” that draws on their musical histories. The title track drags the listener into a dark, sweaty basement, a space where neon lights wink and speakers throb. Fusing elements of new beat and rave revelry, the track is salacious and bold. Robotic samples weave between siren squawks, clean snares slipping into thick basslines and creamy breaks. Two remixes follow, both handled by French producer Back From The Wave. First up is the ‘Breaky Remix’. True to the original material’s club origins, this remake throws melodies even higher, as drums lift euphoric lines into the stern refrain of ‘Emergency’. The ‘Indie Remix’ closes out. In this version, glowsticks are coated, as soaring keyboards take centre stage, with beats reinforced for an extra punch.
