We are happy to welcome the Los Angeles re-edit crew, Boogie Down Edits. The first track is a re-working of De La Soul, re-imagining some of their most beloved hip-hop tracks into party-starting house jams. Wisely, they've chosen to retain many of the key musical ingredients of their original material, subtly tweaking the grooves to aid seamless mixing and an elevated listening experience.
It starts with the loose hip-house swagger of "Saturday", then moves into a more rhythmic and irregular groove with the classic "Me Myself and I".
On the flip side, we find a Hip House style re-working of "Buddy", with powerful basslines, completing the package with a house and groovy version of "Say No Go".
